Terms of Use

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Japanese version is the authoritative text and prevails in case of any discrepancy.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the conditions for using the translation self-check service "TransLoop" (the "Service") provided by OrangeZely LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Description of the Service)

The Service translates the text you enter, back-translates that translation blind (without seeing your original text), and compares the result with your original to flag any possible drift in meaning.

Article 2 (Quality Limitations and Disclaimer)

• Translations and check results produced by the Service are generated by automated AI processing. We do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
• A "no issue" result does not guarantee the absence of mistranslation. Undetected errors may remain.
• For uses where an error could have serious consequences — medical, legal, contractual, or administrative matters — always have the content reviewed by a qualified professional.
• Except where caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Article 3 (Accounts)

• Using the Service requires authentication via a Google account or similar.
• You may not let a third party use your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the in-app settings screen. Deletion permanently and irrecoverably erases your data on our servers, including My Dictionary.

Article 4 (Fees and Plans)

• The Free plan has a daily limit on the number of checks.
• The Premium plan is billed at ¥480 (tax included) per month or ¥4,800 (tax included) per year, as reference prices in Japanese yen; the amount actually charged is converted to your local currency and displayed by the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.
• Payment is made through your app store account.
• Unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription renews automatically at the same price. The renewal charge is billed within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• To cancel or turn off auto-renewal, use the subscription management screen in your App Store or Google Play account. If you cancel partway through a billing period, you may continue using the Service until that period ends.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited once you purchase a subscription.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

• Acts that violate applicable law or public order and morals
• Mass automated access, circumventing usage limits, or reverse engineering
• Entering information that infringes the rights of others, or causing harm to third parties through the Service
• Acts that damage or interfere with the functioning of our servers or network

Article 6 (Handling of Submitted Text)

Text you submit is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for translation processing. See our Privacy Policy for details. If you enter another person's personal or confidential information, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent or authorization to do so.

Article 7 (Changes to or Suspension of the Service)

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service without prior notice to you. If we discontinue a paid plan, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

Article 8 (Changes to These Terms)

We may revise these Terms. The revised Terms take effect once posted on this page.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kokura Branch of the Fukuoka District Court as the court of first instance.
